Earthrise Camping is the UK’s first donation-powered circular tent hire and one of the most affordable ways to get a tent anywhere in the UK.
Our refundable deposit is a flat £20 across all hires. The lowest of any tent hire company in the UK.
Our terms are so laid back that we don’t charge cleaning fees for a muddy return, or additional costs on top of your deposit if you damage the tent, unlike any other tent rental.
We bring the start of adventure to your doorstep and then take the muddy bits away once you’re done. We’ll arrange for a courier to drop the tent off the day before your hire starts. Then when the fun is over, just tuck it back into the original box, slap on the return label we provided, and someone will swing by to grab it the day after your hire ends. The only real catch is that you’ll need to be hanging out at home between 7 am and 8 pm on those two days so the driver can do their thing. Perfect excuse for a lazy day on the sofa.
Starting from just £7.50 per night and with nationwide delivery, our tent hire is cheaper than buying a tent you’ll barely use and better for the planet than leaving one in a field.

Why We Started Earthrise Camping
Every year around 250,000 tents are left behind at UK festivals with most ending up in landfill. Cheap tents are often bought for a single weekend, then abandoned because people believe it’s less hassle than taking them home, cleaning them, then storing or attempting to sell them. 52% of festival-goers see tents as a single use item, and 39% believe all tents abandoned are donated to charity.
The reality is there wasn’t an easy, affordable alternative for festival-goers who don’t want the responsibility of owning a tent. Traditional tent hire companies put up massive barriers with inefficient booking systems, large deposits and hidden charges in T&Cs such as cleaning charges and additional charges beyond the deposit paid. That’s the problem Earthrise Camping was created to solve.
