Can I hire a tent for Bloodstock?
Yes! We deliver nationwide, so wherever you’re travelling from, your tent will delivered to you at least the day before your hire period begins. Just book online in minutes: no email requests and no waiting around for a reply.
What happens if my tent gets damaged at the festival?
We get it, stuff happens at festivals. And we know you won’t be spending your time guarding your tent from every person that risks tripping over your guy lines and landing on your tent. So we make it simple, depending on the damage the most you’ll lose is your £20 deposit. Unlike some other tent hire companies, we won’t charge beyond this. We’re pretty laid back as well when it comes to this; parts that can be easily replaced or repaired (like a snapped pole or a small tear in the fabric) we’ll sort ourselves with no charge to you.
The only things you will lose your deposit over is missing parts on return, late returns, serious structural damage that requires professional repair (like tears in the groundsheet), or returning it in a genuinely unhygienic state, think bodily fluids, not mud… If we do spot anything on inspection, we’ll contact you with photos and a breakdown before any deductions are made, and you’ll have 5 working days to respond.
Can I return the tent muddy?
Absolutely, return it wet, muddy, covered in Catton Park dust… We don’t mind as every tent needs to be cleaned anyway between hires, so don’t worry as there are no cleaning charges with our tent hire.
What size tent do I need for Bloodstock?
Usually the rule of thumb is to go up one size to the number in your group. However, some tents break this rule, and our Cairns 2 DLX is one of those tents. It’s a 2 person tent that can fit a standard double airbed and has a bit of room to spare for bags, it also has a small porch for storing muddy gear.
If two of you are packing light (think nothing more than sleeping bag, mat, small bag of clothes and your wallet/purse), then the Quechua Fresh & Black 2 person popup would make a great base camp. Setup is in seconds, black out fabric means you can stumble back to camp at 4am and then sleep well into the morning, and is one of the simplest popups to put away.
Three or four of you? Step up to the Arpenaz 4.2 or Hampton 4 for proper wiggle room after a long day on the barrier. Both have enough height to stand up in, so you’ll leave the festival with less back ache than you usually would!
Is tent hire cheaper than buying a tent for Bloodstock?
If you’re buying a decent double skinned tent, then yes our tent hire is cheaper. Especially once you factor in, cleaning, maintaining and storing it when you’re back. And if you’re thinking of buying one of those cheap single skinned “festival tents”, they are basically as good as binbags. So why risk your weekend on something that will probably leak by night two? From £7.50 a night with a fully refundable £20 deposit, hire is the smarter choice for most people.
