Camping Tent Hire Cardiff

Cardiff isn’t just a city, it’s a gateway to some of the best outdoor spaces in the UK. The Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) are right on your doorstep, the Gower Peninsula is a short drive west and the Pembrokeshire Coast is only a bit further along. Not only is the Welsh capital a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, it is also known for several festivals every summer. From Green Man Festival, that is well known across the UK, to more local tastes such as Tafwyl and The Gower Festival, Cardiff is a hub of culture for Wales. So, whether it’s a weekend at a festival or a family camping trip along the Welsh coastline, there’s no shortage of reasons to get a tent, especially with landscapes and events like these on your doorstep! But buying camping gear that only gets used for one or two trips doesn’t make much sense, especially when your next adventure might look completely different to the last.

That’s where Earthrise Camping comes in.

We rescue unwanted tents, refurbish them and give them a second life, so whether you’re heading to a festival field or a quiet spot in the Beacons, you’ve got quality kit without the commitment of buying. Festivals Near Cardiff

Cardiff might be the beating heart of Wales, but some of the country’s most unforgettable festival experiences are waiting just beyond the city limits. Whether you’re into indie anthems echoing across rolling hills, electronic beats pulsing through woodland clearings, or folk sessions spilling out of country estates, the region surrounding Cardiff has something to get your wristband on for.

Within a couple of hours of the city, you’ll find a festival landscape that punches well above its weight. Green Man draws music lovers to the Brecon Beacons every August for a weekend of world-class acts and breathtaking scenery. Latitude-style vibes meet Welsh wilderness at a handful of boutique events that have quietly built cult followings over the years. And for those who like their festivals a little wilder, the valleys and coastline offer settings that no arena show could ever replicate.

The best part? Cardiff’s excellent transport links mean you’re never too far from a hot shower and your own bed, though once you pitch that tent and hear the first act hit the stage, you probably won’t want to leave! This is just a taste of what’s nearby:

Why Choose Earthrise Camping in Cardiff?

Flexible Delivery Options

Choose what works best for you: we can deliver directly to your Cardiff address and collect after the festival, or you can collect from your nearest Evri ParcelShop and drop back when you’re done. Perfect if you don’t have storage space or don’t want the hassle of keeping a tent you’ll only use once or twice.

Affordable Festival Camping

Starting at just £7.50 per night with a £20 refundable deposit plus P&P, hiring a tent is more affordable than buying, especially if you only attend one or two festivals a year. No need for an upfront cost of £150-£200 for a tent that you’ll store for 340+ days per year or buying a cheap £50 one that is about as robust as sleeping in a bin-bag.

Circular & Sustainable

We’re committed to reducing festival waste. Every tent we hire out prevents a tent being abandoned at a festival or ending up in landfill after one use. Our tents are used multiple times, properly maintained and kept in circulation. Better for your wallet and the planet.

Perfect for Festival-Goers

Whether you’re a Cardiff local heading to Green Man or a Cardiff University student that is planning a summer festival, we make camping simple. Focus more on the music and less on the tent buying hassle.
